OLD FASHION STYLE WAFFLES
Combine the flour, the egg yolks, the sugar, the salt, the cinnamon, the rum, the baking powder and the water in a large bowl. Blend until smooth. In another bowl, mix the softened butter and the heavy cream, pour into the batter and stir. Set aside for 1 hour. Heat up the waffle iron. With a piece of cloth, or better still with a silk brush, oil the iron. Quickly pour a little batter (about 3 tablespoons) into the iron, close and turn over for the mixture to spread evenly. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar and serve.

3/4 cup flour 
2 egg yolks 
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp caster sugar 
1 pinch salt 
1 tsp cinnamon 
2 tbsp creme fraiche 
1 shot glass rum 
4 tbsp butter 
1/2 pack baking powder 
1 cup water 
oil, confectioner's sugar 

Preparation Time 10 mn 
Cooking Time 5 mn 
Tip 
Do not use a synthetic brush to oil the iron, it would melt with the heat.
